Free 6 Month Sim Card

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH SCHEME
Community Foundation has set up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme covering most of the Lozells Area. All residents of the area can become a member of the scheme, and help in making sure that the area is strong, clean, and a safe place to live.

DBS CHECK
Community Foundation can process applications for DBS checks. DBS checks are required by law to be carried out for any person who will work with children and/or vulnerable adults. Your organisation could be held legally liable, if it does not carry out DBS checks.

COMMUNITY AWARENESS WORKSHOPS
A workshop that informes people in the local area on different issues that affect the local community.

PRIDE IN OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD CAMPAIGN
We regularly organise estate clean up in target areas with our volunteers and local residents to remove litter and dumped household furniture.

PARLIMENT WEEK
An event to mark parliament week, where members of the public are invited to hear the thoughts of local councillors and members of the parliament.

COMMUNITY QUESTION TIME
A chance to ask to local Councillors, members of Parliament and public sector bodies your burning questions.

PAST PROJECTS

CENSUS 2021
Community Foundation became an approved ONS Census Support Centre, to help people fill out the census, and answered any queries that they had regarding the Census.

BOSNIA
An educational trip to Bosnia in partnership with Remembering Srebrenica, giving individuals the chance to meet survivors and the work conducted by the International Commission.

WARDENS
Community Wardens scheme which helps to improve people’s quality of life and help reduce crime, by reducing fear of crime and tackling low level anti-social behaviour and environmental crime.

CANAL ADOPTION SCHEME
A scheme where a canal is adopted, and volunteers help to keep it maintained.

SAHARA WOMEN'S SUPPORTED HOUSING SCHEME
Provides good quality accommodation for Muslim women with diverse needs, in a culturally sensitive, supportive, and safe environment.

COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTROY
A directory that provides quick access to services in the local community.

HOUSE FIRE SAFETY CHECK
Supporting West Midlands Fire Service to promote their home fire safety scheme.

HANDY PEOPLE SCHEME
Community Foundation started a Handy Person Scheme which allowed people to get an odd job from painting and decorating to mowing the lawn and cleaning completed at an affordable price.

PARENT PATROL
Local parents undertook basic training in conflict resolution and anti-social behaviour, and then patrolled targeted areas with local police community support officers.
